The event is also organized to celebrate October 1, the national day of the People's Republic of China. The event will include open air presentation of Chinese language and culture, poetic readings and a traditional tea drinking ceremony.

Speakers will include the Rector of the Ss Cyril and Methodius University Velimir Stojkovski and the Chinese Ambassador to Macedonia Wen Zhenshun. The Confucius Institute in Macedonia is part of the large international network of institutes that promote Chinese culture and language learning across the world
