May 18, Ambassador Dong Chunfeng and his wife Ms. Ma Jixia hosted a dinner at his residence for H.E Gjorge Ivanov, President of Macedonian, and his wife.

Both sides had a wide and in-depth conversation on bilateral relations and topics of common interest.

Ambassador Dong highlights to President Ivanov China's peaceful development strategy, "12th Five-Year Plan", and the China-US and China-EU relations. President Ivanov showed admiration for China's rapid development and achievements and also expressed satisfcation for the friendly cooperation in various fields between the two countries.

Ambassador Dong presented the President the Macedonian magazine which published Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo's article "Stick to the Road of Peaceful Development".
