Prime Minister Gruevski on construction site of highway Miladinovci-Shtip

Forty-three percents of highway Miladinovci – Sveti Nikole – Shtip are already hacked as part of start of construction five months ago. Construction work, according to the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski is going well, and domestic companies are carrying out most of them. It is expected that with the realization of the investment of 208 million euro in the construction of 47 km highway would be provided many local jobs.
 

- Construction work is going great for almost five months is hacked to work of 43 percents of the route, which currently employs 260 workers and 136 construction machines. At the end of August, these figures will duplicate, said Gruevski during the inspection of highway construction "Goce Delchev".

The number of workers involved, said the Prime Minister is not final, it is constantly increasing. It is expected that it will dramatically increase in the next few months. He pointed out that currently are built three highways, and the value of Miladinovci- Shtip equals 206 million euro and it should be ready in three years.

According to Gruevski 43 percents of the highway section is good progress even more than planned for the implementation of the project of 208 million euro, which should be completed in three years.

Director of PE for State Roads Ljupcho Georgievski said that the construction subcontractor "Beton" should build stretch of 17 kilometers and the main contractor from China "Sinohydro" will have 10 kilometers. The domestic company "Granit", also as subcontractor, will carry out the remaining 20 kilometers of the route from Sveti Nikole to Shtip.

 

                      

- Of the 47 km already are hacked 43 percents, which is over 20 km earth works. Follows the expansion of future highway, which should be with width of 28 meters. On this route, there are six interchanges, starting with Miladinovci, which spans at the refinery highway "Miladinovci" and through Sveti Nikole two intersections in front of Shtip, said Georgievski, pointing out that there will be several below roads and overpasses for rapid communication with the settlements.

Highway Miladinovci – Stip will be in length of 47 km and width of 29 meters with two lanes in both directions and additional bar stop. Along the highway is planned to build 8 overpasses. 

Between the two roads, there will be 4 meters of protective green area and system for capturing rainwater from the road.

Miladinovci – Sveti Nikole – Stip is one of three highways being built in the east, west and south of the country.The other tow are  Kicevo – Ohrid, Demir Hats – Smokvica.
