On October 13, 2026, H.E. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan visited Ss. Cyril and Methodius Primary School in Kočani and attended a screening of the Chinese documentary The Blue Planet Outside the Window. Nearly 100 students, teachers, and local residents took part in the event.

Ambassador Jiang briefed the audience on the first Chinese Film Festival in North Macedonia and recent film and art exchanges between the two countries. She noted that film is an art form that transcends borders and language barriers, and that young people are vital to a better future and to carrying forward the traditional friendship between China and North Macedonia.

She expressed the hope that bringing Chinese films to Macedonian campuses would help young people in both countries better understand one another, and encouraged students to aim high, pursue their dreams, and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
