On October 14, 2026, H.E. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan met with Borche Serafimovski, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy of North Macedonia. 

Ambassador Jiang outlined China’s goals and measures to strengthen its agricultural sector and advance the modernization of agriculture and rural areas. She emphasized that China is committed to promoting high-quality development through high-standard opening up, and welcomed more high-quality agricultural products from North Macedonia into the Chinese market. China stands ready to deepen cooperation in crop cultivation, agricultural innovation and technology, and professional training. 

The two sides also exchanged views on rural revitalization, smart agricultural machinery, green agriculture, and eco-tourism.
