On June 5, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan was invited to deliver a speech to the students at the University of Skopje. Rector Prof. Ace Milenkovski and faculty members were also present.

Ambassador Jiang shared her insights on how to understand Chinese modernization, people-centered policy, and China’s commitment to innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development. She elaborated on Chinese philosophy of harmony between man and nature, peace coexistence among nations and mutual learning among civilizations, noting the peaceful nature and cultural values of China’s diplomacy. She stressed that with the formulation and implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan, China will continue to contribute to global economy growth and inject stability and certainty into a turbulent world. China stands ready to work with the international community to safeguard world peace and stability, uphold fairness and justice, promote common development, jointly implement the four Global Initiatives, and build a community with a shared future for humanity.

She also answered questions related to cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and North Macedonia, as well as the role of the Chinese young people in socioeconomic development.
