To further facilitate the travel of Chinese and foreign nationals, China has decided to extend the unilateral visa-free policy for 45 countries (see the list below) until 24:00 on December 31, 2026. During this period, holders of ordinary passports from the listed countries may enter China without a visa for the purposes of business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits, or transit, for a stay of up to 30 days. Those who do not meet the visa-free conditions must still obtain a visa before entering China.
