On July 15, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in North Macedonia held a reception in Ohrid to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Nearly 300 guests from various sectors of society participated in the reception featuring a concert by the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra.
