On May 14, 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan attended and addressed the launch ceremony of the second competition of "Journey to Chinese Fairy Tales and Fables" among students from primary and secondary school in North Macedonia. Present there were resident Petreski of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Principal Trpeska of Rajko Zinzifov Primary School, representatives of teachers from various schools.

Ambassador Jiang noted that Chinese fairy tales and fables embody Chinese people's worldview, values, and philosophy, serving as a window to Chinese  wisdom and culture. They convey the vision of common good for the world where different civilizations flourish together and endorse the spirit of harmony, inclusiveness, and respect for differences. 

She expressed her hope that young participants would immerse themselves in these classic tales and draw inspiration and nourishment so as to better understand peace-loving, open, and inclusive China. She also encouraged them to serve as young ambassadors, promoting mutual learning among civilizations and carrying forward the friendship between the two nations.
