On April 24, 2026, University of St. Kliment Ohridski-Bitola held its Open Day and the ceremony for the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship. H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan, Mayor of Bitola Toni Konjanovski, and Rector Igor Nedelkovski joined faculty members, student representatives and parents in attending the event.

Ambassador Jiang noted that investing in education and youth is investing the future. Chinese Ambassador Scholarship aims at encouraging students to aim high and strive forward, better contributing to development of North Macedonia and injecting new vitality into bilateral friendship.

The Rector commended the Chinese Embassy for its long-standing support and expected to expand cooperation with China in talent cultivation and joint scientific research. Students expressed their determination to study diligently and contribute more to further cooperation between the two countries.
