Sept. 16, Mr. Sang Guowei, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of National People's Congress of China had a meeting with President Gjorgji Ivanov. Ambassador Cui Zhiwei also attended the meeting.

President Ivanov welcomed Sang's visit, emphasized that Macedonia regards China as political and economic partner, value China-Macedonia relations, and would stick to one-China policy and seek for profound cooperation in all fields.

Sang conveyed President Hu's greetings, expressed that bilateral relations has been developing well in recent years and China is ready to develop bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields.
