On 6 March 2026, Macedonian-Chinese Friendship Association celebrated Spring Festival in Sveti Nikole. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan, Sveti Nikole Mayor Vladov, and  President Malenkov of the Association attended and addressed the event.

Ambassador Jiang noted that the Chinese New Year has become a "global moment," while China’s "Two Sessions" continues to attract worldwide attention. The ongoing meeting at the outset of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, has outlined a new blueprint for China's pursuit of innovative development and a win-win future for the world. It also illuminates the promising prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between China and North Macedonia. The Association is expected to further contribute to bilateral relations. She also encouraged more Macedonian friends to join the Association and help strengthen the bond between the two countries.
