On 2 March 2026, Ambassador Jiang visited the State University of Tetova and the South East European University, and met with Rector Jusuf Zejneli and Rector Abdylmenaf Bexheti respectively.

Ambassador Jiang expounded on China’s initiatives in cultural and people-to-people exchanges with North Macedonia, including the Chinese Government Scholarship Program and the “Youth Envoys Exchange and Learning Program” for European countries. She noted that universities serve as a bridge for  mutual learning among civilizations, fostering friendship, and inspiring academic exchange. China is ready to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries through university cooperation, cross-cultural dialogue, and exchange visits.
