On September 24th, the Chinese Embassy in North Macedonia held a reception to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and a photo exhibition commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. More than 300 guests participated, including Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ljupcho Dimovski, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Ivan Stoilković, Minister for Integration and Implementation of the Roma Inclusion Strategy Mr. Shaban Saliu, former President Mr. Gjorge Ivanov, MPs such as Levica Vice Chairman Mr. Recep Ismail, National Coordinator of the Republic of North Macedonia for China-CEEC Cooperation Process Mr. Krum Efremov, diplomatic envoys, and representatives of the Chinese-funded institutions and overseas Chinese in North Macedonia.

Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Mr. Xu Lei attended the event and delivered remarks, presenting China's development achievements since its founding 76 years ago, especially during the 14th Five-Year Plan, elaborating on the historic significance of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, introducing the Global Governance Initiative (GGI), reviewing cooperation results between China and North Macedonia in the past year, and expecting new chapters in bilateral relations and cooperation across all fields.

Guests also visited the photo exhibition commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
