The two sides should strengthen cooperation in such fields as development financing, green economy, and food security, deepen cooperation on maritime affairs, and increase and improve bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation. The two sides should also strengthen defense and law enforcement cooperation, and enhance personnel exchanges, to deepen strategic mutual trust and people-to-people friendship between the two countries.

Wang Yi said that the Global Civilization Initiative recently proposed by President Xi Jinping is another important public good that China provided for the international community. China is ready to strengthen inter-civilization exchanges and mutual learning with Indonesia, and encourage the governments, parties, parliaments, localities and non-governmental sectors of the two countries to play a positive role, so as to constantly enrich and improve the content and format of inter-civilization dialogue.

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan congratulated on the success of China's "two sessions", and spoke highly of China's mediation to promote talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran in Beijing. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that Indonesia views China as an important strategic partner, and stands ready to work with China to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, accelerate the advancement of major cooperation projects, actively probe into the Global Development Initiative, and strengthen the sense of a community with a shared future, to inject new vitality into the development of bilateral relations.
