President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors based on the decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Chen Song was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Nepal, replacing Hou Yanqi (female).

II. Shi Hongwei was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Syrian Arab Republic, replacing Feng Biao.

III. Wan Li was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tunisia, replacing Zhang Jianguo.

IV. Li Qinfeng was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Central African Republic, replacing Chen Dong.

V. Wang Qing was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Sierra Leone, replacing Hu Zhangliang.

VI. Zhao Weiping was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Namibia, replacing Zhang Yiming.

VII. Hou Yue (female) was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Norway, replacing Yi Xianliang.

VIII. Jia Guide was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Italy and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of San Marino, replacing Li Junhua.

IX. Zhou Jian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Fiji, replacing Qian Bo.

X. Zhang Yanhui was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of El Salvador, replacing Ou Jianhong (female).
