Prime Minister Gruevski meets with Ambassador Wen Zhenshun

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met on June 13, 2014 with the new Chinese Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Wen Zhenshun.

Prime Minister Grevski extended warm welcome to Ambassador Wen. He said the Macedonian government attaches great importance to Macedonia-China relations.Due to joint efforts, the two countries have made smooth progress in the political, economic, cultural and many other fields. Meetings at high and highest level between two countries take place frequently. Many projects, especially the two motorways being built on Milandivoic-Stip and Kicevo-Ohrid, are of great importance for macedonian economic development. The macedonian Government speaks highly of the cooperation mechanism between China and central and eastern European countries, and is willing to enhance and deepen the cooperation with China under this framework.

Amabassador Wen conveyed the friendly greetings of Premier Li Keqiang to Prime Minister Gruevski. He said the bilateral relations between People's Republic of China and Republic of Macedonia develop steadily in recent years. Prime Minister visited China serveral times and contributed greatly to promote the China-Macedonian relations. Macedonia sets a good example for the cooperation between China and central und aastern European Countries. Ambassador Wen promised, he would make unremitting efforts to promote a sound and steadily-growing bilateral relationship during his term.
