Minister of Health Nikola Todorov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Macedonia, Wen Zhenshun, on May 30, 2014.

At the meeting, according to the Ministry of Health was discussed the anticipated opening of the Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the country, which will enable the exchange of experiences between the Macedonian and Chinese doctors, staff education in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, and cooperation of the Bureau of the relevant institution of the pharmaceutical business in the People's Republic of China.

Both sides discussed the possibility of organizing visit of Macedonian physicians in many Chinese hospitals, in order to get to know the process of treatment in health facilities that have high frequency of patients on daily basis.

As stated in the press release, the Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine which is planned to be opened in Shtip is the result of good cooperation between Macedonia and China.
