Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, today had a meeting with H.E. Wen Zhenshun, before he left the position of Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Republic of Macedonia.

Minister Poposki expressed his gratitude and recognition for the contribution of Ambassador Wen in the successful improvement of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

Mutually were confirmed the remarkably good political relations and was reaffirmed the interest in further expansion of the economic cooperation.

Minister Poposki assessed the participation of Macedonia in the process of cooperation of China and CEE countries in the format 16 + 1 as a priority of the Government and stressed the readiness of the Republic of Macedonia to continue its active and constructive role in the process.

At the end, Minister Poposki expressed special thanks  the Red Cross  Society of China for donating US Dollar 50,000 after the recent floods that hit Skopje region.
