On December 28th, 2015, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Wen Zhenshun and Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Besimi signed two agreements on economic and technical cooperation, which provide grant funds for financing projects of interest to both countries.

Several projects in the fields of education, training seminars have been realized in the interest of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as providing equipment for protection and rescue. As the last in a series of successful projects is the construction of the school "Rajko Zinzifov" in the municipality of Kisela Voda, Skopje. 

The new cooperation agreements are a clear expression of the willingness of both sides to continue expanding the cooperation projects in the period ahead. Works on the preparation and implementation of projects are implemented in coordination between the Secretariat for European Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Office of Economic and Trade  of the Embassy of the PRC in the country.
