Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Macedonia has replyed in Verbal Note to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Macedonia,to express the supportive opinion for the White Paper document,"Vision and Actions on Jointly Building Silk Raod Economic Belt and 21st-Century Maritim Silk Road". The main contents of the Verbal Note are as follows:

 

                             

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Macedonia welcomes the initiative contained in the document "Vision and Actions on Jointly Building Silk Raod Economic Belt and 21st-Century Maritim Silk Road", which was isuued by the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Commerce with authorization from the State Council of the People's Republic of China, and submits positive opinion on the further development of infrastraucture projects on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, as well as development of the trade and economic cooperation with the Peopl'es Republic of China and the region of Central and Eastern European Countries under the framework of 16+1.

At the same time, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia strongly advocates the removal of barriers in terms of attracting foreign investments and business, as well as singing agreements for protecting investments, avoiding double taxation and increasing customs' efficiency, in order to create a favourable business climate.

The Government of the Republic of Macedonia highly values this document containing a global vision, and strongly believes that it will contribute to realizing numerous projects in the field of regional infrastructure connectivity, investments, resources, economic and trade relations, financial cooperation, cultural exchanges and environment protection.
