On March 1, 2013, Mrs. Deng Minli, the wife of Mr. Cui Zhiwei, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Macedonia, together with women colleagues from the Embassy paid a visit to the teachers and students of the Chinese language class in Filos Primary School.

Filos is a private school in Macedonia. Its language teacher Ms. Susanna has studied Chinese in Beijing on a scholarship from the Chinese government. Holding to a belief that enhancing the exchanges between China and Macedonia, the education of the Chinese language shall start from childhood, she opened a Chinese language course in 2009 with the endorsement from the school administration. Her endeavor has made Filos the only school, of all the primary and middle schools in the Republic of Macedonia, that provides a Chinese course.

When meeting the students, Mrs. Deng told them a story, in a lively tone, about the Spring Festival, the Chinese traditional festival, which has just concluded last February. She said that she was very pleased to meet the group of lovely and diligent Macedonia pupils studying Chinese. She encouraged them to enhance their proficiency of the language and expand their knowledge of the Chinese culture to put their efforts on the friendly exchanges between the two peoples when they grow up.

It was the first time for all the pupils to have an up close and personal meeting with aunties from Chinese Embassy. Excited and curious, the children all were eager to show their language talents such as singing Chinese songs and having situational dialogues in Chinese. Ms. Susanna, the Chinese language teacher, presented a demo lesson in the classroom.
