Diplomatic, service, or courtesy visa applicants need to complete the online visa application form at https://cova.mfa.gov.cn/, print out the confirmation page and the whole application form, and then submit the application form, the relevant diplomatic note, and other required documents directly to the Chinese embassy during its working hours, without the need for a prior appointment.
