In order to further facilitate personnel exchanges, the following adjustments regarding visa and entry policies for foreign nationals going to China will be effective from March 15, 2023. 

     1. Foreign nationals holding valid visas issued before 28 March 2020 can enter China with the above-mentioned visa.

    2.All types of visas will be available for application. For details, please refer to Notice on Chinese Visa Application (Updated on 14th March, 2023) (http://mk.china-embassy.gov.cn/eng/lsfw/qz/202207/t20220702_10714121.htm).

    3.Port visa authorities will resume to issue all categories of port visa complied with statutory reasons.    

    4. Resuming Hainan visa-free policy, visa-free policy specified for foreign cruise-group-tour through Shanghai Port, Guangdong visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups from Hong Kong or Macao SAR, and Guangxi visa-free policy specified for foreign tour groups of ASEAN countries.
