Representatives from Ohrid's Sector for Tourism and Local Economic Development and officials from the Bureau of Tourism of Chinese city Dalian signed Memorandum of Cooperation in tourism.

According to Ohrid Mayor Nikola Bakraceski, the document stimulates future cooperation between both cities in regard to tourism, exchange of information, products and services, hosting tour groups from China in Ohrid, possibility for setting up charter flights from China to Macedonia, as well as joint participation in international tourism fairs and events.

"In this manner, we contribute to the cooperation between both cities, which we believe will be very fruitful and after its has been made official we will be able to bring Chinese tourists to Ohrid and other Macedonian tourism centers", Mayor Bakraceski stated.

During last year's visit of Dalian's delegation to Ohrid, it has been agreed Dalian TV crews will visit Ohrid in April 2015 to film reportages of Macedonia's touristic offer and to broadcast them before the huge Chinese audience.
