Chinese Party Delegation visited Parliament of Macedonia

A delegation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, led by Vice-Minister Zhou Li, who was accompanied by China's ambassador to Macedonia Wen Zhenshun, visited on 22.September 2014 the Macedonian Parliament for a meeting with its Vice-president Antonio Milososki.

 

 

After the establishment of diplomatic relations between Macedonia and China, political cooperation had been excellent with many visits at a state level being organized, said Milososki.

With respect to the business cooperation, he added that several Chinese companies were working on major projects in Macedonia announcing that the cooperation would be intensified in the future, the Parliament's press service said.

Milososki highly praised China's fruitful cooperation in the UN and other international organizations as well as its foreign policy based on the principle of not meddling in the internal affairs of sovereign states, observing the principles of international law and the One-China policy.

Zhou Li voiced satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation and intensive contacts after normalizing the relations between the two countries in 2001.

He said a special attention was paid on the relations between the People's Republic of China and the countries in Central and Eastern Europe, including Macedonia. The Chinese official noted that they appreciated the sovereignty and integrity of Macedonia and its efforts made toward EU integration.

Zhou Li expressed gratitude for Macedonia's stance of the One-China policy, the support in international relations and the bid to promote China in Macedonia.
