Hospital "Queen Mary" is major health education center in Hong Kong and is the most awarded clinic in the region.

It specializes in tertiary health on the whole territory of Hong Kong and employs over 5,000 medical personnel, out of which over 1500 doctors. It is famous for its advanced methods in the field of transplantation and pediatrics.

At the meeting was discussed the realization of cooperation between Macedonian public health and hospital facilities "Queen Mary".

It was agreed that training and education of Macedonian doctors and medical staff at the hospital "Queen Mary". In the coming period the professional teams from both sides will need to specify the areas of medicine for training our doctors and procedures for establishing cooperation.

-We hope that their doctors from Hong Kong, will come to us to share their knowledge by staying in Macedonia for few weeks, so that larger number of doctors and medical staff will get the chance to learn some of the skills that Hong Kong doctors have learned and are applying and which are not introduced yet in our country, stated the Prime Minister Gruevski after the meeting.

The management of the hospital "Queen Mary" is positive on future cooperation and expected sharing of knowledge and experiences with the Macedonian doctors and medical staff.

I think that there are many options for Macedonian doctors to expand their knowledge and to come to Hong Kong to share our experience, which we have, and to use the chances for cooperation in the future, said Dr. Lee Choi, Director of hospital.
